I
was halfway down the stairs when the light flipped on!
Standing before me were two of the largest men I had
ever seen in my life! I was shocked! I wasn't exactly
frightened, but there was such a radiation of divine
power which comes from them dwelling in the brightness
of God's presence, that I could not stand up! My knees
buckled and I started to fall! One of these huge beings
reached out, took hold of me, and my strength returned!
He very simply told me he was the angel Gabriel! I was
stunned! Could this be the same Gabriel I had read about
in the Bible? ... Each time the angels have come, they
have brought a message from God for the world. If I could
put the substance of these messages into one simple phrase,
it would have to be, "I CARE!" God made it very
clear to me that I am to share what happened in my life
... My first reaction was to try to get out of giving the
message brought to me by an angel. I valued my credibility
and felt it would be shattered. You will discover in these
writings that God helped me change my mind. ... the Holy
Spirit, true to his promise, has given wings to these messages
and they have circled the globe ...

 When he was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked him about the parables. He told them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you."
It doesn't matter what your IQ is, IF you don't know what Jesus taught and meant in His parables, you're ignorant. (My people perish for a lack of knowledge ... ) Anyone claiming to be a minister or pastor, who does not feed his flock the truth's revealed in the parables of Christ, is not doing their job. You could base your entire sermon material for YEARS just on the truths revealed in the parables of Jesus. There are many great authors in the world today. Many great books have been written. But NONE compare to the glaring light and wisdom revealed by THE MASTER AUTHOR and TEACHER Himself, Jesus Christ. You've GOT to KNOW what He said, meant, and taught - His parables contain THE TRUTH. This book by Gary Inrig is a good place to start. I also recommend "The Parables He Told" by David Redding. The parables are gold mines from heaven itself - the keys to the Kingdom.

 Why are we here? God's eternal purpose, writes Paul Billheimer, has been the preparation and training of an eternal companion for His Son: the Bride of Christ. This preparation takes place as believers engage in spiritual warfare, and as they exercise believing prayer. God has chosen to work in the world through His children's prayers.
