The location of Mount Sinai, where God met with Moses, making a covenant with Israel, and giving them the Law and the Ten Commandments, is often shown incorrectly in Bible maps today. We now know what the Muslims of Saudi Arabia have known for a long time, that Mt. Sinai is in NW Saudi Arabia, and they don't want the world to know. The parting of the Red Sea in the Biblical account took place in what is called the Gulf of Aqaba today, a large inlet of the Red Sea. Exiting the crossing to the east (away from Egypt), the Hebrews found themselves at Mt. Sinai, in the land of Midian, which today is northwestern Saudi Arabia (where Moses had gone into exile for 40 years). Watch this amazing 2 hour video (106 MB; Low Quality) of some of the explorers, of which there are several, who give their testimony, and show you pictures and video of the unmistakeable evidence found in this barren area, such as the blackened mountain, split rock that the water gushed out of, cattle shoot, memorial pillars, golden calf alter, Hebrew writings on stone, sandal prints circling Saudi Arabia (40 year wilderness wandering), mass cemetery and more; all recorded in the Exodus account of the Bible.
